When their kids left home, a pair of empty-nesters—Tami and her husband, Les—chose to stay put and remodel their traditional home in Houston’s Bellaire neighborhood. The interiors are set in a neutral palette with an emphasis on texture, brought in through plaster walls and antique wood furniture; and the primary bedroom was transformed into a true retreat.
