This was ground-up build for a young Houston family that lived on this lot for years before ultimately building their dream home. This was a uniquely collaborative project, where the homeowner had definite ideas of what she wanted stylistically, including a modern farmhouse aesthetic, as evidence by the white slurried brick and stained wood on the exterior. The farmhouse kitchen includes handpainted stone backsplash, custom range hood, custom cabinetry elements and plenty of pantry storage for a young family. The outdoor space was a main focus and is used often by the young family.
